Enjoy camping and prospecting in one
Western Creek Fossicking Camp is located on Flat Creek Road between Georgetown and Forsayth. It is a privately owned beef cattle grazing property open to fossickers and prospectors with great camping facilities. The pet-friendly camp is accessible to motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs with areas suitable for tents.

Fees are $5 per day per person – kids 12 years & younger stay for free for camping only
$15 per day or $100 per week per person for Detecting + camping

The camp is a great place for gold detecting and panning also, there are chiastolite’s to be found.
