Thoona Pub (FC)

The Thoona Pub welcomes self-contained campervans, caravans & motorhomes to stop the night, with free camping in the block behind the pub – while nothing fancy, its flat and there’s plenty of space to park the van for the night.  While you’re stopped you can enjoy a cold drink & meal in the Pub. And in winter, there are two fireplaces to keep you warm.

The Thoona Pub is a true country pub.  You can find us in the little rural town of Thoona, in North East Victoria.  The Pub has stayed true to it’s roots – what we offer is country hospitality in a relaxed, laid back family friendly environment.

We have a diverse menu, catering for all special requirements, including gluten and dairy intolerance and vegetarians, along with a large children’s menu. The wine list is extensive and includes many of the beautiful wines made locally in Glenrowan, King Valley & Rutherglen – all just a short drive from the pub.

HOW TO GET THERE
It is located 36km North from Benalla. Take Midland Hwy/A300, Old Thoona Rd, Benalla-Yarrawonga Rd/C373 and Bungeet Rd to Thoona-Devenish Road to Sargeant St in Thoona, Thoona Pub is on the left.

SITE ACCESS
Site access is straight off Johnston Street as you approach Sargeant Street (on the left side of the pub).

FEES & BOOKINGS
There are no costs to stay at this site, however they would appreciate your patronage.

THINGS TO DO
Each year the streets of Thoona come alive with the Annual Thoona  Wheelie Bin Championships.  The event is a grassroots event ran by a small group of dedicated locals. You can also visit the Warby Ranges which is around 5 km east of Thoona.
