The area is a large campground with trees for shade located on the northern edge of Smythesdale. The pet friendly site offers basic facilities and is accessible to caravans and big rigs with areas suitable for tents.

HOW TO GET THERE
Smythesdale is located on the Glenelg Highway between Ballarat and Skipton. From Ballarat as you reach the beginning of Smyhesdale turn right at the first street into Garden Street, the Park is 330m on the right (there are a couple of driveways).

From Skipton drive through the town centre and turn left into Garden Street 550m past the Courthouse Hotel which is the end of the shopping area.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Donation to the Smythesdale Roadhouse or Post Office is encouraged to help upkeep the site.

An absolute gem of a place. it was recommended to us. very dry in summer but plenty of places to park the van to benefit from the shade. toilets, showers, kitchen and lovely peaceful surrounds. Ended up staying 2 nights. So peaceful.
