This site is a campground with basic facilities with a grassed camping area at Lake Burbury. This campground is very popular in the Summer Holiday period.
The campground has toilets, and picnic facilities, fireplaces and is a moderately large flat area adjacent to the lake with a boat ramp and onsite caretaker.
HOW TO GET THERE
Lake Burbury Camping Ground is located on the Lyell Highway, twenty minutes east of Queenstown travelling towards Hobart, the turnoff is 3.1km from the end of the bridge over the lake. From Hobart, it is 65.1km from the road junction at Derwent bridge. It is only 600m from the Highway into the campground.

Fee is $6/ vehicle per day, caretaker on site, cash only, please.
