ENJOY SPACIOUS SITES, FRIENDLINESS AND CLEANLINESS

Our park has a relaxed garden setting next to the Burrum River, close to Howard. We provide spotless and well maintained amenities with shared coin laundry facilities. We offer powered drive through sites, unpowered sites, and ensuite cabins that have air conditioning and are fully equipped. All sites are very spacious offering cement slabs or grassed sites and we can accommodate big rigs. There is also a sewage dump point in the park. Not only do we welcome pets, but we offer a free dog wash facility.

Our outdoor pool is a great way to cool off in the warmer summer months. The park also provides a communal fire pit available from 5.00pm, when the days become cooler again. Our pontoon on the river is a great place to sit and relax and catch fish, crabs, and prawns. If you have a boat, there is a cement boat ramp across the river from the park.

Our camp kitchen is fully equipped with full oven, cooktops, microwave, toaster, electric jug and a large fridge freezer. There is also a BBQ available.

Our day room, which is attached to the camp kitchen is a great place to gather, to either watch TV and catch up on the days events, use the library, make use of the free WiFi or just relax with a drink and nibbles and talk to friends, old and new. Pop into the reception area for tourist information, ice, bait, gas, ice-creams, drinks, and munchies.

THINGS TO DO
We are centrally located to the towns of Childers, Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Burrum Heads and Toogoom. Use us as a base so you can enjoy your activities and know that you only have a short drive back to the park. Childers has wineries and the Palace Backpacker Memorial, while Hervey Bay boasts great whale watching and deep-sea fishing as well as Fraser Island day trips. Maryborough has a lot of history and is the birthplace of the author of Mary Poppins, P L Travers. All these towns also have great food, markets, festivals, and shopping.

Howard which is only 2.5km from our park offers so much for a small town. there is a great Pub with a courtesy bus, takeaway, coffee shop, butcher, baker, Doctors rooms, a Vet, two supermarkets, and a chemist. Howard also has a huge market on the first Saturday of each month. There is also a great Drapery in town. If you love your crafts, this is a great place to visit. You can fish from our own pontoon and may catch some flathead, mangrove jack, eels, bream, crab, and prawns or try your luck at Burrum heads and the Lenthall dam.
