Looking for a great camp on the banks of the Jordan River?
Jericho Redbank Freedom Park is located on the banks of the Jordan River just east of Jericho. The park has become a popular tourist attraction and is enjoyed by all that visit the park. The park includes a barbecue area, amenities block, and also a playground area. Camping is permitted, for a small fee via a donation located on-site near the water tap. The diverse geography of the Jericho region offers you an opportunity to spend time in a peaceful rural atmosphere with plenty of historic interest and natural attractions.
You can enjoy many activities at this location including fishing, canoeing, kayaking or even swimming in one of our two dams! If you’re looking for something more relaxing then why not take some time out to explore our historic buildings or have fun exploring nature trails through native bushland? It’s your choice how much activity you do but we know that everyone will find something they love about this place! So come along today for an experience like no other!
HOW TO GET THERE
Driving into the township of Jericho, turn into Edison St, Faraday St, or Bessemer St. You will then turn left into Davy Street and drive to the end, where you will see the park.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Fee is from $6 per night. Booking is essential.
FACILITIES
Facilities include toilets, showers, drinking water, a BBQ area, picnic tables, a children’s playground, and fire pits.
RULES
Please obey any local signage.
