Chudleigh Showground (CG)

Camp in an awesome grassy area.

The Chudleigh Show Committee welcomes anyone travelling around our beautiful state to stay at our show grounds. The showground has plenty of grassed areas on which you can park your caravan, there are also trees for shade during summer. Electricity is not available, however, you are welcome to use a generator for your electricity requirements. The Chudleigh Shop is located next to the grounds and should provide you with any basic requirements that you may need during your stay.
Meals are also provided by the shop including breakfast and evening meals.
Maximum duration: 3 nights

Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RVs. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their website or call ahead to avoid disappointment.

SITE ACCESS
Chudleigh is conveniently centered between Deloraine and Mole Creek along the Mole Creek road. The showground’s entrance is on Sorrel Street opposite Honey Farm.

FEES & BOOKINGS
$5.00 per night, pay at the Chudleigh Shop located next to the show grounds.

THINGS TO DO
It is a great place to stay on your way through to Cradle Mountain. Chudleigh Honey Farm, The town itself has a renowned Honey Farm which produces some of the best honey in Tasmania. Visitors can browse through the shop and take the opportunity to taste and learn about honey production.
