Mole Creek Caravan Park is the perfect base for travellers to enjoy the local attractions of Mole Creek and to explore and enjoy diverse activities in central north Tasmania. The park is situated 4km west from the small town of Mole Creek and only one hours drive from the Devonport Ferry Terminal. The perfect spot to relax and unwind in true country style by the creek.
Privately owned and operated, the park is surrounded by small farms and mountains and nestled on the banks of Sassafras Creek. You can often see trout swimming and if you are lucky you might get to see a platypus in the crystal clear waters. There are a total of 30 unpowered sites and 20 powered sites which are mostly flat and grassy and drive through.
As a bonus, firewood is provided for the open fires that are allowed along the length of the creek and it is also pet friendly. The park has a full range of facilities as indicated below, and there is even a small cabin should you wish to have a break from the van or catch up with friends or family with no RV.
Mole Creek, is the gateway the Great Western Tiers, Marakoopa and King Solomon Caves. The Gog Mountain Range overlooks the park, where you will discover Devils Gullet and the Walls of Jerusalem, with Mt Roland close by and Cradle Mountain Reserve just an hour’s drive away.
