Yarraman Rest Area (RA)

At the time of publication this is a day use only rest/picnic area with overnight stays not allowed.

HOW TO GET THERE
This Rest Area is located48.3km South of Narrabri, or 77km North of Coonabarabran.  It is accessible primarily Northbound and is shared with trucks.

REST AREAS NSW:
If you intend to travel on Australia’s major roads or highways, you need to plan your rest breaks to combat fatigue. Driver fatigue is one of the three main killers on NSW roads and can be as dangerous as speeding or drink driving.

NSW provides areas to rest or stop in some of the following ways.
Rest Areas, Stopping Bays, Lookouts, Parks, Truck Parking Bays, Reserves & Information Bays.
These areas should be utilised according to their intended use.

Please note: Rest areas are not designed to be camping grounds or caravan parks. Using rest areas for multiple overnight stays as part of a planned itinerary is not in keeping with their intended purpose. Those needing facilities for an extended stay are encouraged to look for camping areas or caravan parks in towns along the way.
