Overlooking the calm waters of Yangie Bay, this campground, located within the Coffin Bay National Park is protected by low-lying hills and dense scrubland. Kayak at Yangie Bay and explore nearby walking trails. Six of the 13 unpowered campsites are suitable for caravans. There are 13 Sites available at this location.

HOW TO GET THERE
Coffin Bay National Park is located 50km west of Port Lincoln. Access from Flinders Highway is via Coffin Bay Road. Access is via a sealed road with a short unsealed section suitable for 2WD vehicles.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park, there should be signs to the actual campgrounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping fees from $10 per vehicle.
Camping is available on a first-come, first-served basis in designated campgrounds only. Please note that Christmas and Easter are peak visitation periods.

THINGS TO DO
Well known for its birdlife and remote coastal scenery, Coffin Bay National Park is an ideal place for a recreational adventure. The park conserves a representative sample of diverse coastal landscapes ranging from high windswept cliffs and massive dunes to pounding surf beaches and sheltered sandy bays. Visit during late winter and spring and you’re likely to see the park ablaze with native flora.

There are plenty of opportunities to explore the park. At the southern end of the park, Yangie Bay which is accessible by 2WD offers an ideal place to paddle your canoe, enjoy a bush picnic or explore a coastal bushwalking trail. A sealed road to Point Avoid takes in spectacular island views. The bays and coastline around the park are also great for boating, sailing, scuba diving, and windsurfing.

The stunning northern beaches of Coffin Bay National Park are only accessible by high-clearance 4WD. A favorite destination for anglers, birdwatchers and surfers, this remote and beautiful area offers several secluded camping areas with easy beach access.
