Wowan Caravan Park is located at the rear of the Old Butter Factory with good shady sites in very tidy grounds. Though the site is unpowered, the place is dog friendly, has a BBQ area and a camp kitchen. They also have a fully sef-contained and air conditioned cabins if you’re looking for an alternate accommodation. Coin operated washing machine and dryer is also available.
HOW TO GET THERE
The park is 80 km away from Rockhampton via Leichardt Highway; in Wowan turn right at Pheasant Creek Road then second left at Don Street, second left again at Dee River Road, park is on the left.
SITE ACCESS
Once you reach the place, you’ll see wide area for parking with lots of trees.
