Woodenbong Camping Grounds (CG)

Woodenbong Camping Grounds is set in ‘Yowie Country’ in the MacPherson Ranges in the shadow of the majestic Mt Lindesay and offers an economical holiday in rural surroundings.  The site suits vans, tents or Motor Homes. It is Pet Friendly and Free to use Electric BBQ’s, Kitchen, Shelters and Amenities,

The park is set amid well kept gardens located on Unumgar Street (Mt Lindesay Road) adjacent to the swimming pool, outdoor gym, skate park, half basketball court and alongside Lindsay Creek. On the edge of the village for easy access to shops and Woodenbong Hotel and Woodenbong Golf Club.

HOW TO GET THERE
Woodenbong is at the junction of Mount Lindesay Road (extension of Mount Lindesay Highway/Summerland way)) and Clarence Way which links Woodenbong with the Casino-Tenterfield (Bruxner Highway) route.  The campground is 400m West of the Junction.

SITE ACCESS
Enter via the roadside area and follow the track.  The caretaker is on your right on the way in.  Please stop if he is there and let him know you have arrived.

FEES & BOOKINGS
$5 per site per night or $10 for powered sites.  Hot Showers $1. Free Grey Water Dump Point.  A $20 deposit is required when keys to amenities are obtained which is fully refundable when keys are returned. It is requested that you please pay in advance. A donation box is on site if no option is available.

This camping ground area is maintained by the residents of Woodenbong on a voluntary basis and overseen by the Woodenbong Progress Association.

Woodenbong offers Chemist, Cafe, Foodworks, groceries, Take Away, 24 hour fuel Woodenbong Driveway with mechanical, Taylors Hardware Mitre 10 with LPG and camping needs, Woodenbong Hotel for chef prepared meals 7 days a week plus TAB and pub facilities, Woodenbong Golf Club 9 hole course and Friday night dining, NAB Bank, Post Office (Commonwealth Agency), Hair Dresser Salon, a delightful craft shop Country Brushstrokes, Real Estate Agent, Engineering, Panel Beater and a Police Station.
