Wittelbee Conservation Park (CG)

Surrounded by mallee and high sand dunes, the low rocky headland of Wittelbee Point has plenty of bushwalking tracks to explore.

Self-sufficient bush camping is permitted in this park. There are very limited facilities in the park, hence it is important that you are self-sufficient and carry adequate supplies of fuel, food and water.

HOW TO GET THERE
Wittelbee Conservation Park is located 10km south east of Ceduna. Access is via the unsealed Decres Bay Road.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping fees from $12 per vehicle (max 8 people).

Many National Parks in South Australia require a Park Pass to enter. The prices for the Park Parks may vary. Read more about FEES & PARK PASSES.

THINGS TO DO
Birdwatchers will enjoy the number of seabirds that forage along the foreshore, including hooded plovers and pied and sooty oyster catchers, while nature lovers can explore the samphire flats that extend beyond the dunes towards the undulating plain where red mallee, yorrells and dryland tea-tree grow.

Whether you choose to relax on one of Wittlebee Conservation Park’s sandy beaches, go bushwalking or birdwatching, you will appreciate the peace and solitude.
