Willare Bridge Roadhouse and Caravan Park (CP)

Willare Bridge Roadhouse and Caravan Park is located in between Broome and Derby on the beautiful Fitzroy River, with this area known as ‘Beef & Barra’ country. Being in an isolated area, the Roadhouse is not your standard run of the mill roadhouse and is well worth stopping at on your journey for a stay, or just for a short break.

Willare Bridge is set in nice surroundings, the best you can get on the large dusty red landscape. The well-kept caravan park is out the back and boasts a refreshing pool which can be a welcome relief in the outback. The grounds are well manicured and they have 18 powered campsites and numerous un-powered sites. The Campsite also has a camp kitchen, free laundry, showers and a dedicated toilet block. There is also a BBQ area, free camper and trailer storage and a caravan dump point. The park has all you need for a long or short term stay.

Alternative accommodation is also available all year round in the form of modern en-suite donga rooms with air-conditioning, bar fridges and TV.

The Fully Licensed Restaurant and Bar offer a large range of delicious and affordable meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try out some tender Yeeda Beef or the beautiful locally caught Barramundi. They also have a takeaway menu and a large range of bain-marie options featuring their famous homemade sausage rolls and quiches  There are good spots to eat both inside or out in the Beer Garden.

HOW TO GET THERE
The Roadhouse is on the Great Northern Highway 1km north of the Willare Bridge over the Fitzroy River, or 40km south of Derby.

SITE ACCESS
Is direct off the Great Northern Highway and wide enough for all size vehicles. Plenty of room to pull up out the front and inquire about a spot.

Willare Bridge Roadhouse and Caravan Park is a great place to stay and relax with its donga hotel, caravan park, shop, restaurant and beer garden. It is also an oasis to fishing enthusiasts during Barra fishing season with a display on the wall of fame if your catch is larger than 1 metre.
