Are you looking for a new adventure?
Waterhouse Conservation Area is a hidden gem in the far northeast of Tasmania, containing one of Australia’s largest areas for heathland. With vast remnants from before humans arrived that tower over your head at up to 100 feet tall and cover acres upon miles into these Permanent Deep Water Lagoons which house three major habitats all within them: Woodlands with their various species; Sandy Beaches where you can find some rare plants only found around these parts or elsewhere on this coastline.
Campsites are plentiful but basic with visitors needing to be self-sufficient so they can enjoy exploring.

THINGS TO DO
The area has so many things to do that it can be hard to choose just one! You could go fishing in Blackmans Lagoon or take a swim at the beach. If you want something more active, why not try 4WDing on some unsealed roads? There are also walking tracks through the forest if you prefer hiking instead.
