This is a popular rest area suitable for self contained vehicles at the entrance to Millmerran from Cecil Plains. It is close to the Museum and not far from the town centre.
HOW TO GET THERE
Millmerran is 81km from Toowoomba on the Gore Highway which is the main route between Toowoomba and Goondiwindi. From either direction turn North opposite the decorated water tanks into Charles Street on the edge of town and the park is only onw block ahead on the left.

Access from either Charlotte Street or Walpole Street.

THINGS TO DO
Millmerran has a very good local Museum with both buildings and memorabilia from the local district. To the South is the Millmerran open cut coal mine and power station which can be seen from a lookout on the Commodore Peak Road.
