Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RV\\\’s. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their web site or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
The Wallumbilla show grounds welcomes campers of all types. The sites are located on a large flat level grassed area. There are powered and un-powered sites available. The grounds are shut at times during events so it is best to ring ahead and ensure they are open. The caretaker attends both morning and afternoon to collect fees.
SITE ACCESS
The showgrounds are easily accessed off the Warrego Hwy. Once inside the gate veer to the left. Sites are located in this area and it is clearly marked as to where you can camp. The amenities block and dump point are located a short walk away at the other end of the showgrounds.

There is no formal set fee for this location but donations are requested at the “Calico Cottage” on the Highway. A fee of a minimum $10 is suggested as power is available
