Wallaby Gap group campsite provides a campground within West MacDonnell National Park (Tjoritja). Get to enjoy the wonderful sights surrounding the area. This vast and spectacular section of the MacDonnell Ranges, located west of Alice Springs, is an outstanding example of an ancient landscape sculptured over time by climatic elements. Cool scenic gorges are important refuges for a collection of plants and animals, many of which are found only here and some are relicts of a bygone era of tropical forests.

SITE ACCESS
The campsite is accessible via Larapinta Drive.
The vehicle access track to Wallaby Gap has a locked gate. Larapinta Trail walkers who need to access the vehicle track can borrow a key to the gate by contacting:

Visitor Information Centre
A key deposit of $50 is required to borrow the key, fully refunded upon return. An additional non-refundable fee of $10 will be charged by Tourism Central Australia for administrative costs associated with maintaining this service.

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual campgrounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

Camping Fee per night: Adults: $3.30, Child (5-15 years): $1.65
Family (2 adults, 4 children): $7.70
