Uralla Caravan Park is the only park in town that is set off the highway. It’s set in a parkland setting with views of the historic Alma Park with the creek running along the bottom of the park.  It’s only a short stroll from the town centre. Camp fires in designated areas are permitted, and pets are welcome. The powered sites are large and most are grassed. Take advantage of the drive through sites, stay hooked up and walk the 200m to town. Come and enjoy the relaxed unpowered camping along the creek bank.

HOW TO GET THERE
From the New England Highway turn North West on King Street (Naturally Healthy on corner) and drive to the t-juntin with Queen Street at the end.  The Park driveway is straight ahead.

SITE ACCESS
Head down driveway and you will see the office which is signed.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fess are from $20/night unpowered and $28/night with power.

The site is currently (Feb 2018) being run by Council with someone in attendance 4.30-8pm Mon-Fri.  Pick your site and pay when the office is open. No Bookings are taken but enquiries can be made at the Information Centre.

FACILITIES
This Park has basic facilities.

THINGS TO DO
There are many different activities in the area such as the Wooldridge Recreation and Fossicking Reserve, which is located approximately six kilometres from Uralla township along the Kingstown Road. You can take a drive to Dangars Lagoon which is situated approximately four kilometres south of Uralla along Thunderbolt’s Way. Thunderbolt’s Rock is a time-worn cluster of granite boulders located six kilometres south of Uralla on the New England Highway and well worth a visit. If you enjoy Horse riding Harlow Park Horse Riding is located four kilometres from Uralla on the Gostwyck Road. They offer treks of 1 hour to 2 days in length. Thunderbolt’s Grave is located near by – one of the last of the New South Wales bushrangers. From their home in an historic converted woolstore, the New England Brewing Company first began producing their range of handcrafted, all malt, preservative free and unfiltered beers in early 2013. A great place for a drink.

Fantastic location & easy walking distance to town, parks & clubs. Amenities are in desperate need of an upgrade & the grounds are in desperate need of maintenance. This CP could be so much better!
