On the beautiful South Coast of NSW, just over ½ an hour south of Batemans Bay, this absolute beachfront park with its beautiful views over the ocean is one not to be missed when you’re in the area, whether it’s just for a relaxing couple of days’ get away or a few weeks’ break. The park overlooks the river mouth and on to the Eurobodalla National Park and beaches, then all the way out to Montague Island.

Whether you have a small tent or a big rig, the park has easy access and room to set up and manoeuvre. There are powered and unpowered sites including nine beach front powered sites, and the complete range of amenities you’d expect at a modern park are well kept and clean. There is a selection of on-site accommodation with some right on the beach as well, from beach houses and cabins to elevated holiday units, most with balconies to take advantage of the stunning views.

All types of water sports can be enjoyed in the area, including swimming, boating and fishing in the lakes, the river or the ocean. For the fishers, the abundant large flathead and bream in the area are legendary. Whether you like a walk along the beach or through the bush in the many parks and reserves, there are numerous opportunities for you to observe the abundant native flora and fauna that live in the area, including several dozens of bird species.

You’ll find all your supplies at the small seaside town of Tuross Heads, and for all the larger town facilities, such as medical, nearby Moruya with its district hospital is at hand. The Eurobodalla agricultural region grows some of Australia’s best produce, from fruit to beef, wines and cheeses, much of which can be sampled in the many restaurants and eateries dotted throughout the area.
