Located at the junction of the D’Aguilar & New England Highways, and about 2hrs from Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, Yarraman is a perfect stopover for the traveller or if you just want to get away from the city for a few days.
The park caters for all types of camping with spacious powered and unpowered sites for tents and vans and drive throughs for the big rigs. Some sites are sheltered and shady, others are more open for efficient solar panel setup. Many have great views of the surrounding landscape, and the option of en-suite facilities is also available. The many native trees in the park are a great attraction for the local bird life.
There is also a range of self-contained cabins at the park, from motel style to suit 2 or 3 people, up to comfortable family accommodation, so you’ll be able to find the accommodation that suits you.
There are many nature walks of varying length that start at the park, and a number of National Parks nearby, such as the Bunya Mountains and The Palms. The historic Brisbane Valley Rail Trail starts at Yarraman. In addition, there are a number of Historic buildings in town to explore, and with local wineries to sample as well as numerous other activities, the area has sufficient choice to keep everyone happy.
Well behaved and controlled pets are allowed at the park, provided the park’s sensible conditions are adhered to.
This park is a part of the Top Parks Network, an Australian-Wide network of holiday parks and accommodation. For more information, visit their web site via the link below.
