The Great Aussie Holiday Park, is an award-winning park that rests on the banks of Lake Hume. The park is the perfect place to base yourself to explore the diverse attractions of the Albury Wodonga region. Owners Melanie and Russell Diffey say the rural setting, wide open spaces and the convenient design of their park, will ensure your camping getaway is not only spectacular, but incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. The expansive and naturally scenic landscape and water views that cover one hundred hectares, is one of the most spacious caravan parks in Albury NSW.

With two kilometres of private foreshore, the park offers pet friendly camping on a range of spacious paved and grassy powered and unpowered caravan and camping sites. They also have en-suite sites nestled amongst big shady trees and only a short walk to all amenities. The park offers day and night activities for all ages making it a destination where you can simply relax and socialise in a very peaceful environment while the kids are having fun.

The Great Aussie Holiday Park has so much to offer their guests including a spacious cafe that overlooks Lake Hume, offering a delicious cafe menu and open for Dinner. The cafe is seasonal and dinner times vary depending on the time of year. They also have a general store located off the main office for all your basic needs but if you feel like you need a bigger shop then Woolworths also deliver to Great Aussie Holiday Park,

Well-appointed cabins and villas to suit all budgets and tastes are also available for those who wish to catch up with family and friends who aren’t the avid camper. Accommodation options range from Squatters Huts, Budget Cabins, Park View Cabins, Lake View Villas or Poolside Villas to suit couples, families or groups

HOW TO GET THERE
From Albury, turn right off the Hume Highway into Bowna Road 25km north of the Highway on ramp, follow Bowna Road for 4.9km, turn right into Wymah Road. After 6km ,turn right into Hore Road then take the first right into the driveway and follow it around the Park.
From the north, turn left into Bowna Road 25km south of the Holbrook on ramp then after 5.4km turn left into Wymah Road and proceed as above.

SITE ACCESS
The driveway is around 1km of well maintained gravel road. Parking is available at reception

Private Boat Ramp – Only accessible to guests of the park.

THINGS TO DO
There are so many things to do at the park you and the kids will not want to leave.
The Pump Bike Track has been voted one of the kid’s favourite things to do along with the Jumping Pillow, Playground and the Waterspray Park that includes a large dumping bucket.

Have a game of Tennis, Air Hockey, Pool, Table Tennis, Volley Ball, and Disc Golf.

The Recreation Room is perfect for days that might be a bit wet as there are plenty of games to play and the Kids Club always has something different to do, the kids never want to leave or just relax, kick back and enjoy one of the movie nights.
