Tolderodden camping area features shady, grassy camp sites in open eucalypt forest on the banks of the Burnett River. Picnic or camp under the Moreton Bay ash trees on the banks of the Burnett River. The area caters for a variety of camping experiences, from tent camping to large motor homes.
The camping area can be reached by conventional vehicle and is accessible for trailers, caravans and buses.
Number of sites: Open area without separately defined sites.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car, caravans, camper trailers, small and large motor homes and large groups.
Camp site surfaces: Grass.
SITE ACCESS
The camp site is on the Cracow Road, 6km from Eidsvold.
The park is located in the Upper Burnett close to Eidsvold and is approximately 256km from Maryborough. From Maryborough travel through Childers, Biggenden, Gayndah and Mundubbera to Eidsvold.
From Eidsvold there are two routes:
follow the sealed Eidsvold-Theodore Road for 6km and turn right into the camping area located on the eastern bank of the Burnett River. Suitable in all weather conditions.
travel west along Spring Gully Road (sealed) for about 3.5km and then continue driving around to the left onto an unsealed road. Drive another 1.5km to Tolderodden Regional Park camping area. This access route is suitable for conventional vehicles, camper trailers and caravans in dry weather only.

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Fees for camping permits are:
$5.75 per person per night or $23.00 per family group per night.
$3.20 per person per night for students and accompanying adults on approved excursions.
FAMILY RATE. For camping fees, a family group is defined as one or two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of 8 people. Children under 5 years of age are free.

FACILITIES
Disabled access toilet (please do not empty chemical toilets into this facility), picnic tables, wood barbecues and rubbish bins. Tank water is available in the park-treat before drinking.
RULES
Keep to defined vehicle tracks and walking trails.
Camp in designated areas to avoid damage to fragile vegetation.
Take rubbish home with you – if you carry it in, carry it out.
