The Granites Motel and Caravan Park was established in 1985 in time for the Tibooburra School Centenary Celebrations. They offer at least twenty six powered sites and a large camping area with all the facilities required for a very comfortable and extended stay.
The Reception is situated opposite the Motel Complex at TJ’s Roadhouse and both businesses are owned and managed by John and Mavis Jackson whose families arrived in the Tibooburra area back in the 1880’s.
HOW TO GET THERE
Tibooburra is the closest town to Cameron’s Corner and as such is 332km North of Broken Hill on the Silver City Highway. It can also be access ed from Bourke via Wanaaring; or from Wilcannia via White Cliffs but the Highway is the best road.
SITE ACCESS
Entering Tibooburra please check in and pay fees at the Roadhouse on your right; to access the park turn left at Brown Street (The first turn in the town area) and the park is on the left.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping fee starts at $22 for up to 2 people for unpowered sites and an $28 per powered site. Generous weekly discounts apply.
