Theresa Creek Dam located southwest of Clermont, Central Qld, is an idyllic and relaxing holiday destination for campers, water lovers, and anglers. The campground, nestled on the banks of the dam, is the perfect spot for swimming, canoeing, sailboarding, fishing or simply relaxing by the water.

The unpowered campground is suitable for caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, and big rigs with an area for tent campers. Pets are allowed, but they must be on a lead at all times, and campfires and generators are also permitted. The campground offers plenty of shaded areas to park up or camp or with 30 acres, you can set up in the sun and make use of your solar.

There are excellent facilities including flushing toilets, hot showers, picnic tables, and sheltered picnic areas, BBQs, 6 x 6 camping shelters, and a playground for the kids.
The campground kiosk sells ice, gas, cold drinks, espresso coffee, a variety of groceries, and hot food including burgers and fish and chips if you don’t feel like cooking.

There is easy access for all vehicles including bitumen access all the way to the boat ramp and two boat ramps to choose from. Launch the boat for a fun day out on the water and if you don’t have a boat there are plenty of spots around the foreshore to throw in a line.

If you need any additional supplies or feel like a delicious pub meal, it’s a 22km drive to Clermont where you will find two Iga’s, butchers, a bakery, a newsagent, and 4 pubs.

The new managers, locals Steve and Maryann Nicholson, look forward to welcoming you to the Theresa Creek Dam Campground.
