Theodore Showgrounds offer good low cost camping with all the usual facilities, is pet friendly and has a 7 day limit.
Many showgrounds offer affordable and convenient locations to camp, especially for larger RV’s. Many will also permit pets. However, many showgrounds are closed at certain times of the year due to the Annual Show or other events. It is always best to check their web site or call ahead to avoid disappointment.
HOW TO GET THERE
Theodore (and the Showgrounds) is located at the junction of Leichardt Highway and Theodore-Eidsvold Road, 50km North of Cracow or 58km South of Banana. The entrance is on The Boulevard (Theodore-Eidsvold Road) 600m South of the junction or 200m North of 11th Avenue

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fees are $20/night with power or $15 without. Weekly are $100/$75.
Caretaker collects fees every afternoon.
