The Pines campground – Kosciuszko National Park (FC)

The location is suitable for Caravans, Camper Trailers, Camping beside my vehicle, and Tents.

The Pines campground is only a stone’s throw from Blowering Reservoir and on the edge of Bogong Peaks Wilderness. Located in the northern precinct of Kosciuszko National Park, it’s a perfect spot for adventure-seekers who love to revel in the great outdoors.

Pull up the van or boat beside the reservoir and set up camp. With so many options for outdoor activities, and a huge stretch of water to play on, it’s a great base for water sports including paddling, sailing, boating, waterskiing and fishing.

SITE ACCESS
Sealed road – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
The Pines campground is in the northern precinct of Kosciuszko National Park. To get there drive south of Tumut on Snowy Mountains Highway for approximately 21km.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Fees and bookings are not applicable to this campground.

FACILITIES
Wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), Boat ramp, Picnic tables, Non-flush toilets.

RULES
There are no marked sites.
Drinking water is not readily available at this campground, but water can be collected from the grounds and should be boiled for approximately 5-10 minutes to make it fit for drinking.
This is a remote campground, so please make sure you arrive well-prepared.
