The Log Cabin Camp is located  on the edge of Springbrook National Park, with the World Heritage listed Natural Bridge and glow worm caves a leisurely stroll away. The Log Cabin Camp has grassy campground suitable for all sizes of caravans with amazing amenities. They also offer self-contained units for alternative accommodation.

Do as much or as little as you like, but in either case it’s the perfect escape from city life and a great base to explore the National Parks on its doorstep.

HOW TO GET THERE
From the North, take exit 69 off the Pacific Highway. Turn right at the freeway exit lights. Follow Nerang-Murwillumbah road for 38 kms. The log cabin camp is 700 metres past the Natural Bridge turn-off.

From the South, take Nerang-Murwillumbah Road from Murwillumbah 30 kms. The camp is 3kms north of the NSW/Qld border.

FEES & BOOKING
Fee is from $20 for a couple per night for unpowered site and $25 per couple per night for powered site.

THINGS TO DO
The following activities will keep you busy during your stay:
Volleyball. Make use of the on-site volleyball court

Movies on the big screen. Brunner Hall contains a projector and large screen to watch your favourite flicks

Relax in front of the fire in The Old Log Cabin.

Hiking. If you feel like stretching your legs, why not enjoy the leisurely 15 minute walk down to the Platypus Pond (Hint: best times are morning and evening)

Bird watching. There is a large variety of birdlife at the Camp.

Spot the bush creatures. Keep an eye out for the bandicoots, lizards, tree frogs, wallabies and the odd snake or two!

Nearby attractions are:
Natural Bridge and Glow Worm Cave. Take the leisurely 700m walk down to the world famous Natural Bridge, and return at night to see the thousands of glow worms in their natural habitat.

Springbrook National Park has waterfalls, lookouts and hiking trails.

Lamington National Park to the west also has extensive walking trails through beautiful rainforest.

Bornhoffen PCYC nearby offers rafting, hiking, canoeing and more.

Numinbah Valley Adventure Trails offers horseriding.

Theme Parks. Dreamworld, Wet ‘N Wild and MovieWorld are all less than an hour’s drive away.

SummerGrove Estate offers fine dining and live music on weekends.

Hinze Dam offers a variety of recreational activities including walking, electric or manual power boating, fishing, biking and horse-riding. There is also an on-site café and BBQ facilities.
