The recreation campground provides plenty of space and shade for campers which is accessible to caravans and big rigs with easy turn around area. The site offers free camping but if power and hot shower is needed, pay and pick up the key as indicated on the notice at the amenities block (this sometimes changes).
HOW TO GET THERE
Thallon is located on the Carnarvon Highway between St George (77km) and Mungindi (40km). At the Northern end of the town area turn West into William Street and go past the oval on your right to the camping area just around the long curve at the end.
FEES & BOOKINGS
There is no charge for the use of this facility, so if you are staying at this site we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the local community.
Power and hot showers may be had by pating a small fee as directed on the board at the amenities block.
THINGS TO DO
The site is a perfect location to visit and explore the town and its surrounding attractions. Thallon is noted for it’s large Silos which are aopposite the campground.
