Tenterfield Caravan Dump Point (DP)

This Dump Point is located in the rear section of the local Showgrounds, which is also the camping area.  Easy access but beware of turning around if it is very wet as the area away from the roadway is all grass. There is a small fee for those not camping at the showground.

HOW TO GET THERE
From either direction turn west off the main street opposite the Visitor Information Centre into Miles Street. The driveway is 300m on the right. There is also some RV parking in Miles Street on the way back out (Gravel area).

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT DUMP POINTS

Dump Points are sites especially designed for Recreational Vehicles (RVs) to dispose of their waste, including Grey and Black Water, and Sewerage in an environmentally safe way.

Some Dump Points will have a hose provided for the rinsing of your holding tanks. Be mindful that these hoses may have been used to clean waste, and in no circumstances should be used to fill your drinking water tanks.

Some Dump Points also use recycled water, not intended for drinking. If drinking water is available at these sites, it should be clearly marked. If it is not marked as such, avoid using it as potable water.
