Tender Cuts is an award-winning butcher in Naracoorte that is popular with the locals. They sell quality, locally sourced meat, seafood and smallgoods for a true paddock or ocean to the plate experience. With a baker as part of the team, they also specialise in pies, pasties, and gourmet specialty foods.

Tender Cuts were the 2015 AMIC Sausage King champions, and their range of sausages includes varieties such as lamb, feta and spinach; pork and fennel; Worcestershire and pepper; and chicken, spinach and cashew. Their fresh seafood comes straight from the boat and can include locally caught snapper, flake, Coorong mullet, flathead or garfish.

If you’d like a hot pie for lunch, you can choose from options such as pulled pork, lamb yiros, pizza, or chicken, bacon and mushroom. Or for a quick meal at night, why not pick up a family pie or quiche, or try one of Tender Cuts’ more meaty meal options such as sirloin scroll with sundried tomato, bacon, spinach and garlic seasoning or gluten free zucchini beef koftas.

HOW TO GET THERE
Ormerod Street is just one street north of Smith Street (Wimmera Highway), which connects to the Riddoch Highway (A66). Tender Cuts is two shops from the post office.

SITE ACCESS
There’s parking for cars out the front, but if you have a large rig you’ll need to park in one of the surrounding streets. Alternatively, if you’re staying at the Naracoorte Tourist Park or Naracoorte Showgrounds, get settled in first and leave your car or motorhome there. Tender Cuts is just a 10 minute walk away.
