HOW TO GET THERE
From Tamworth follow the Oxley Highway North-East  to Nemingha and turn left at the BP, the Park is behind on the left.  From the North drive through Nemingha and turn right at the BP as above.

THINGS TO DO
Tamworth hosts the internationally renowned Tamworth Country Music Festival in January each year. The Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre and the Australia Livestock and Equine Centre also have a full program of events catering for all tastes and age groups.

Lake Keepit and Chaffey Dam are both a short drive away with their many activities including water sports, fishing, bushwalking and picknicking. For a lovely day trips, visit the old gold mining town of Nundle and Australia’s Koala capital, Gunnedah.

Tamworth has beautifully maintained parks and gardens where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll or energetic walk along the Kamilaroi Track, winding its way through the Oxley Park and linking the Marsupial Park, Oxley Lookout & Flagstaff Mountain.
