The Sunraysia Steam Preservation Society offers one or two free powered campsites on the Murray River near Mildura Victoria, at the historic Psyche Bend Pumping Station in exchange for volunteer/s acting as tourist guides to show members of the public this historic and iconic irrigation pump station.
A full site induction is provided as is public liability and accident insurance. Volunteers will be required to sign a Volunteers Agreement and lodge a refundable key deposit of $100. The primary volunteer must have a mobile phone.
Prospective volunteers should contact us to arrange a placement date as only one camp site is available although we will accept a second accompanying camp. Camper trailers, camper vans, caravans or motor homes are accepted. It would be a requirement that the applicant must have their own mobile phone.
