All Grey Nomads and Truckies are welcome to stop at the Stanhope Pub when travelling in and around the Goulburn Valley area. If you would like to take advantage of an overnight stay, there are free showers and toilets available in the hotel, but in return, we would appreciate your patronage by buying a meal whilst staying. There is always a friendly smile cold drink and home-cooked hot foot available on offer 7 days a week. Pre-booking would be appreciated on 0358572293 so Mandy can make your stay a welcome one. Meal bookings are essential on Monday nights.

Stanhope is located half an hour from Shepparton and 1 hour from Bendigo on the Midland Highway in Stanhope. We have an excellent Shopping Centre including a Supermarket, Butcher & Hardware for your purchases, a terrific Fish & Chip Take Away Café along with a hairdresser, Quirky little OP shop, and Unique Woodworking & Saddlery Gift Shop. There is a Post Office/Paper Shop, A RTC & Business Centre for your Computer or Admin needs and a Chemist and Community Health Service available for health needs. Our Fuel Station boasts to be one of the cheapest in Victoria and there are also 2 Mechanical Garages available.

There is a dump point available, a 5-minute drive to Girgarre. The Whroo Forest, Waranga Basin, and Green Lake are only a 15-minute drive away.
