Beautiful and peaceful campsite
St Helen’s Beach Camping Area is one of several campsites operated by the Mackay Regional Council along the coast. Located at the end of Murray Road St Helen’s Beach and has toilet and hot shower facilities. Turn off the Bruce highway at Calen and follow the signs.
HOW TO GET THERE
Turn east off the Bruce Highway, 400 metres north of the St Helens Bridge in Calen, onto Pratt Road. Travel 2.5 kilometres then turn right onto Wewak Road. Travel 2 kilometres then turn left onto St Helens Road which becomes St Helens Beach Road. Travel 8 kilometres then turn right onto Murrays Road. The camping spot is 1.5 kilometres on an unsealed road.
