Great RV stop for self-contained motorhomes and caravans.
Located 25 minutes northeast of Hobart, the Sorrell RV stop offers budget overnight stays for up to 10 nights.
The Rest Area is in Montagu Street, Sorell. A permit fee is payable and are available from the Council chambers between 8:00 am and 4:45 pm Mon–Fri, or onsite – please place the correct money in the envelope provided and place it in a safe deposit box near the dump point.
You will need to display your permits on the dashboards of your vehicle and be clearly visible. The RV Park has a BBQ shelter with a free BBQ and picnic tables, sponsored by the Lions Club of Sorell. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times. A dog exercise area is located next door on the corner of Montagu and Arthur Street.

Fully Self Contained Caravans and Motorhomes Only by regulations but the rule is relaxed for sites around the grass border and in the overflow area

The site is a great place to relax and visit the local shops such as hotels, supermarket, and restaurants as it is only a short walk to town.
