HOW TO GET THERE
Saunders Beach Camping Area is at the Northern end of Reef Street.  Leave the Bruce highway at Saunders Beach Road, around 26km North of Townsville. Follow the road to the end and turn left into Reef Street,

Thus is not a swimming beach!! Do not swim in the sea in tropical North Queensland! Crocodiles, sharks and deadly marine jellyfish.
