Riverside Convention Centre is a church campground owned and operated by the Seventh- Day Adventist Church. Bookings are available to guests traveling to Townsville for local events, educational or religious reasons, as well as respite accommodation for those using Townsvilles medical facilities. Unfortunately our council permit does not allow for general tourist bookings.
Our site offers a range of accommodation options, from basic tent sites to caravans to Big Rigs. Guests can choose to go powered or choose unpowered on our large open paddock area. Facilities provided include amenities blocks with showers, toilets and a laundry. Access to council parklands and Ross River walkway from the back gate.
HOW TO GET THERE
Just a 2 minute drive off the Bruce Hwy. Exit Bruce Hwy at the Townsville Hospital/JCU University exit, follow the signs to Nathan Street, cross the Ross River Bridge then turn right at Leopold Street. You will find us on the right opposite Anne Street.
