Richmond RV Stop is a large gravel area maintained by the Council and includes a Dump Point and Water supply.
HOW TO GET THERE
Richmond is on the Flinders Highway 116km West of Hughenden or 149km East of Julia Creek. The RV stop is in Hillier Street, between Harris and Clayton Streets, turn North off the main street into either of these.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dump Points are sites especially designed for Recreational Vehicles (RVs) to dispose of their waste, including Grey and Black Water, and Sewerage in an environmentally safe way.
Some Dump Points will have a hose provided for the rinsing of your holding tanks. Be mindful that these hoses may have been used to clean waste, and in no circumstances should be used to fill your drinking water tanks.
Some Dump Points also use recycled water, not intended for drinking. If drinking water is available at these sites, it should be clearly marked. If it is not marked as such, avoid using it as potable water.
