Set on 40 acres of tranquil bushland, The Reef Caravan Park is only a few minutes away from the coastal towns of Agnes Water & Town of 1770, both with rich heritage history exhibited and sitting on a beautiful piece of the tropical Queensland coast. Catch a wave, catch a fish or catch a large PINK amphibious army duck (or LARC) for a picturesque sunset tour – it’s all waiting for you here. The town of 1770 is one of only three places on the east coast where you can watch the sunset over the ocean.
The grassed, sheltered sites at the park are very generous in size and cater for all campers. Powered and unpowered, annex slabs available, they suit everything from tents and trailers up to the big rigs and 5th wheelers. There is plenty of level ground for everyone, and yet your base here is only a matter of moments from the coast – just not caught up in the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist towns. The park is large enough to accommodate groups or clubs as well.
The amenities and grounds are well maintained and clean – there is even a pizza oven and herb garden, as well as b-b-q’s and a camp kitchen, available for your use. The abundant native animals and birds in the area are attracted to the native plants in the park and surrounds. Local craft and produce markets are held at the park on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
Well-behaved and supervised pets are welcome here, with the customary conditions and common-sense courtesy rules applying.
