These remote campsites offer very basic camping and intended for those attempting the Wilderness Coast Walk. There is no access for RV’s, they are Tent Only sites.

Note if you are intending to stay at Wingan Inlet, you should book this stay in the Rame Head Zone. There is an area dedicated to overnight hikers doing the Wilderness Coast Walk at this campground. Please camp in this area. No water is available at any time of year in this section. The walk is mainly beach walking, with a small amount of walking through coastal forest.

Named after the Aboriginal people of the area, Croajingolong follows the far-eastern coastline of Victoria for 100 kilometres and features eucalypt forest, rainforest and heathland.

SITE ACCESS
Croajingolong National Park in Far East Gippsland is located approximately 450 km east of Melbourne and 500 km south of Sydney. The park is accessed from multiple points along the Princes Highway between Cann River and the New South Wales border. Roads to Wingan Inlet, Mueller Inlet, Thurra River and Shipwreck Creek campgrounds are unsealed and not suitable for caravans. Access is weather dependant.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the National Park entrance or as close to the camp site as possible. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Prices from $10.00 per person, per night.
The walk is divided into 3 sections, and a booking is required to camp in each of these sections. To protect the natural environment, hikers must not camp in one location within each section for more than two consecutive nights. Hikers must make every attempt to only stay in one section for a maximum of three nights.
