Rabbit Trap Hotel is a welcome respite for any traveler and boasts good old country hospitality adopting the philosophy, ‘there are no strangers here only friends you haven’t met!’
The hotel offers free camping on land opposite for travelers and also has some limited power sites for a fee and flushing toilets and showers at the hotel for a donation. The camp area is suitable for caravans, motorhomes, and big rigs.
HOW TO GET THERE
Albert is located on the Bogan Way between Tullamore and Tottenham. Turn off the Bogan Way Eastwards onto Dandaloo Road and the hotel is in the service road on the left.

The camping area is opposite the hotel, please call at the bar first for directions and options.
FEES & BOOKINGS
There is no fee to stay at this site, however they would appreciate your patronage.
If you would like to take up the option of a powered site there is a small fee from $15 per night.

Travelers will enjoy open mic nights for locals and visitors, as well as themed celebrations such as Australia Day and camp oven dinner nights.
Since featuring on Sunrise weather in winter 2011, Australian travelers have been eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the Big Rabbit Trap which is being built to encourage tourists to explore the hidden gems off the main highways known as country towns.
