Official campsite at the end of Stage 4 of the Tasmanian Trail.

Quamby Corner Caravan Park is situated at the foot of Quamby Bluff, under the Great Western Tiers in Northern Tasmania. As it is the official campsite at the end of Stage 4 of the Tasmanian Trail, the park can accommodate the needs of horse riders, cyclists, and hikers using the Trail.

The park offers accommodation, powered, and unpowered sites with a range of facilities available. The pet-friendly site is accessible to motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and big rigs with areas suitable for tents.

HOW TO GET THERE
Golden Valley is on the Highland Lakes Road (A5). From the Deloraine Bridge (Emu Bay Road junction) drive South for 15.5km and turn left into Golden Valley Road, the Park is 170m on the left.  From the South, via A5 drive 22.5km North from the Great Lakes Lookout and Golden Valley Road is on the right.

FEES & BOOKING
Fee is from $20/night per couple for unpowered sites and $28/night per couple for powered sites.

FACILITIES
Facilities are toilets, showers, separate disability facilities, laundry area, camp kitchen, BBQ area, picnic tables, fire pits, and rubbish bins.

Quamby Corner Caravan Park is on the Meander Valley Great World Heritage Ride bike route, next to the Highland Lakes Road scenic route to Hobart via Great Lake and the Great Western Tiers Touring route, making it a great place to stay and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It is an ideal first or last stopping point for tourists travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania.

Campers may also explore the nearby local attractions such as Liffey Falls, Great Lake and Pine Lake, Quamby Bluff and other peaks, Huntsman’s Lake, and Mole Creek Caves.
