Pretty Beach campground – Murramarang National Park (CG)

There are a total of 60 sites at this location. There are 33 unpowered and 27 powered. The location is suitable for Caravans, Camper Trailers, Camping beside my vehicle, and Tents.

This spacious campground is set in an idyllic location, with lovely views out over Pretty Beach and along the coast. It’s a peaceful place to base yourself for explorations around Durras Mountain and Snapper Point within Murramarang National Park. You can enjoy long coastal walks, birdwatching, swimming in the ocean, sunbathing, fishing, and even whale watching at certain times of the year.
Pretty Beach campground has numerous tent sites, many with power, and if you don’t feel like tent camping, there are even a couple of cabins.

SITE ACCESS
Unsealed road/trail – 2WD vehicles – All weather.
From Princes Highway at Termeil take the Bawley Point/Kioloa turn off. Past Kioloa follow the signs to Pretty Beach . There is 300m of unsealed road.

Please note: GPS Co-Ordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you as close to the camp site as possible, or to the National Park entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Vehicle entry fee: $7 per vehicle per day. Please note vehicle entrance fees are not included in your accommodation or camping fees. Purchase at the local office or buy an annual pass online.
Camping fees: Unpowered site fee: $20 per night (2-person inclusive). $10 per night per additional adult (16 years+), $5 per night per additional child (5-15 years), infants free (0-4 years).
Powered site fee: $28 per night (2-person inclusive). $14 per night per additional adult (16 years+), $7 per night per additional child (5-15 years), infants free (0-4 years).
Special: May to start of September school holidays. Powered sites for the price of unpowered sites.
Minimum 4-night stay during Easter long weekend, 3 night stay during October long weekend.
This is a popular campground. Reservations can be made for any arrival within the next 12 months.
Check-in time 12 midday, check-out time 11am.
There are off-peak specials available on camping fees from May to September.

FACILITIES
Amenities block, Gas/electric barbecues (free), Wood barbecues, Drinking water, Electric power, Picnic tables, Cold showers, Hot showers, Flush toilets.

RULES
Pretty Beach campground has an office with information about the park and staff are available seven days a week.
Firewood and ice can be bought at the Pretty Beach office.
Fires may only be lit in approved containers – they may not be lit on the ground.
There is mobile phone coverage in limited areas only. A telephone is available for emergency service calls only (during office hours).
NSW national parks are now no smoking areas. Pets are not permitted.
Strong rips and currents may be present at this beach – take care in the water and please supervise children at all times.
Remember to take your binoculars if you want to go bird watching or whale watching.
