Neurum Creek camping area provides an exhilarating camping experience close to Neurum Creek in an enclosed forest setting. The camping area is not suitable for trailers, caravans or campervans. Four-wheel-drive vehicles are recommended.
Number of sites: 13 numbered sites. Maximum of 6 people per site.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car and walk-in camping.
Camp site surface: raised dirt pads.

SITE ACCESS
Off Neurum Creek Road, about 6.3 km from the southern access to the park (Sellin Road, via The Gantry) and about 13.5 km from the northern access to the park (Woodford end).
South D’Aguilar section
South D’Aguilar section is easily accessible from Brisbane. The park’s picnic areas, walking tracks and lookouts are between 15 and 95-minute drive from the city centre. Access is via Mount Nebo Road (tourist route number 8) from The Gap, or via Samford along Samford and Mount Glorious roads (tourist route number 9).
Mount Mee section
Mount Mee section encompasses the northern section of the park and extends to Woodford. This section of the park is about 90-minutes drive north-west of Brisbane. From the south, travel through Samford and Dayboro then follow Mount Mee Road (tourist route number 29) and Sellin Road into the park. From the north, turn left off the D’Aguilar Highway at Neurum Road (just north of Woodford) and follow it as far as Stanton Road. Turn left onto Stanton Road, then take the first right to stay on Stanton Road before turning right onto Rasmussen Road. Continue on Rasmussen Road for about 5 km to the northern entrance of the park. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended to access the park beyond The Gantry day-use area.

Please note: GPS Coordinates are approximate and provided in most cases to get you to the entrance. Once inside the park there should be signs to the actual camp grounds. Failing this please check with National Parks for further directions.

FEES & BOOKINGS
Camping permits are required and fees apply. A camping tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Fees for camping permits are:
$6.55 per person per night or $26.20 per family group per night.
$3.60 per person per night for students and accompanying adults on approved excursions.
FAMILY RATE. For camping fees, a family group is defined as one or two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of 8 people. Children under 5 years of age are free. Read more about CAMPING COSTS & BOOKINGS.

FACILITIES
Water (treat before drinking), septic toilets, and fireplaces.

RULES
Keep to defined vehicle tracks and walking trails.
Camp in designated areas to avoid damage to fragile vegetation.
Take rubbish home with you – if you carry it in, carry it out.
