Great peaceful campground
The National Road Transport Hall of Fame is one of Alice Springs’ most popular tourist attractions. The precinct includes several buildings housing old trucks and themed displays, the Kenworth Dealer Hall of Fame, the prestigious Shell Rimula Wall of Fame where our road transport pioneers are honoured, the Old Ghan Train, Museum and Tea Rooms, a cameleers garden three DVD rooms, a resource library and several function and event venues. The museum house some of the rarest road vehicles in Australia as well as three locomotives.
HOW TO GET THERE
From the South turn left into Norris Bell Avenue (Cemetery on corner) 1.8km North of the Airport turn off. From Alice drive South 6km from the roundabout at The Gap and turn right into Norris Bell Avenue.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Fees are $15/night unpowered campsite or $25/night with power and water.
For a longer stay, you can volunteer for a minimum period in return for reduced camping fees, enquire at the office.

A must see National Road Transport Museum is a great addition to your activities when camped in this site aside from being a great place to base and explore the nearby attractions.
