This help-out opportunity is organised via Outback Links. It is a great opportunity to Help Out someone in the Nabawa area. In return, you will be provided with a place to park your RV at no cost. In some cases, but not all, facilities including power and water may be available. This will be confirmed upon application.

Activities: These sisters require assistance as the clean-up after the cyclone is a big job. Their father passed away in December 2019 and they are trying to look after the place until probate etc. The closest sister lives a couple of hours away and is in the middle of her own seeding program at the moment.

She has had a volunteer on her farm at Marchagee some years ago and it made a huge difference to them. The sisters would be very pleased to have some assistance at this time.

Tasks needing to be done include picking up debris and putting it into piles, Iron etc. Clearing fences of branches and washing in debris and general gardening around the main house.

When: January 2022
Duration: 7-14 days/Flexible
Accommodation: BYO- access to caravan spot with electricity and water

IMPORTANT NOTE – before volunteering all volunteers need to be registered with Outback Links and have an up-to-date Working with Children Check and National Police Check. To volunteer, please apply here and contact Outback Links ASAP to arrange the checks, as they can take some time to process.
