Nestled in the rainforest, right at the foot of Mt Warning you’ll find Mt Warning Rainforest Park. The Park is the closest thing you’ll find to camping in the wilderness with the choice of a private Riverside Cabin or a night under the stars by your own camp fire.

Located within 1km from the famous Mount Warning, it is an ideal place to stay if you want to be up early and climb the mountain to see the first sunrise in Australia.

The park is well laid out with a variety of sites, and you are free to choose your site, (space permitting as weekends can be crowded) Powered sites are found either in a beautiful rainforest setting, suitable for tents and caravans, known as the ‘Wilderness Area’ (no dogs allowed) or in the main park which has a number of concrete slabs (dogs allowed). Each site in the wilderness area has its own fireplace.

Unpowered camp sites are also available in the wilderness area. The park has a number of grass sites each with its own fireplace. Camp along the river with an inspiring rainforest backdrop. Camp sites are 5.5m wide, maximum capacity allocated for one tent and one vehicle only.

There are also 7 fully self-contained cabins available should you wish to meet up with family and friends who don’t have a caravan. The park is well facilitated with a refreshing pool, games area, outdoor camp kitchen, and a small kiosk carrying the basics and free WiFi for those that really need it. It also has its own natural stream with small swimming holes ideal to cool off in on hot days. There is also a Bush Craft Gallery with local weaving and looming creations on display and for sale. On Sat mornings in Uki, grab yourself some fresh fruit and veges at the local farmers market or a bargain at the village markets held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
