Mountain View Resort is situated in the small rural holiday town of Shoalhaven Heads at the southern end of the beautiful Seven Mile Beach. The family owned and operated park is the perfect spot for families and water enthusiasts to base themselves and enjoy uninterrupted views, swimming, surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, windsurfing and fishing or frolicking with the kids in the patrolled surf (seasonal).
Located a short 15 minutes walk from the beautiful Shoalhaven Heads Beach, and 1.5kms from the Shoalhaven River, Mountain View Resort offers travellers a wide range of accommodation options to suit all budgets and styles from powered camping and caravan sites through to their Executive Unit.
The powered sites are approximately 9 x 9 metres with a choice of grassed sites, sites with an annex slab or en-suite sites suitable for tents, caravans and motorhomes. They also have large en-suite drive-through sites available for those with big rigs. For those seeking a bit of luxury, or need accommodation options for family and friends who don’t have a caravan, Mountain View offer Standard, Village and Deluxe Village Cabins and a 5 star Executive Unit that sleeps 6 and built for total luxury with a king size bed and a wide screen plasma in the lounge.
The spacious grounds are well-maintained and beautifully landscaped with plenty of room for relaxation and play and shady spots to sit and read a book. There are a full range of excellent facilities as listed below, as well as numerous activities onsite including tennis courts, mini golf, basketball, giant chess, a jumping pillow and peddle carts for hire. It’s not all about the kids though, there is an onsite Social Club where you can enjoy a game of Bingo on a Saturday afternoon.
Mountain View Resort is within close proximity to grocery stores, a pharmacy, butcher, bakery and more, including cafes, clubs and restaurants, some within waking distance to the park. For any other essentials you may need, Berry is only 15min drive, Kiama another 10min further and Nowra which is the closest large town being only a 20 min drive from the park.
HOW TO GET THERE
Heading north out of Nowra turn right along Bolong Rd for 14km then turn right into Shoalhaven Road and the Resort is just on your right.
SITE ACCESS
The access is a large level concrete driveway with plenty of room to pull over even if you have a large rig. All internal roads are sealed and level so there are no issues moving your van or trailer around. Office is on the left and you pull in.
FEES & BOOKINGS
Fee is from $40/night for powered sites, $47/night for En-suite Standard Sites, $50/night for En-suite Drive Thru Sites.
Cabin prices range from $100/night for Standard Cabins up to $210/night for Executive Unit

Shoalhaven River
The protected waters of the Shoalhaven River are ideal for fishing with three boat ramps nearby, water skiing, boating, stand-up paddle boarding, and windsurfing.
Access is through the Crookhaven River for deep-sea fishing.
Shoalhaven Zoo
The largest zoo on the NSW South Coast, bringing together over 100 species of native and exotic mammals, birds, and reptiles.
There are two local golf courses, a sporting ground and a skate park in Shoalhaven Heads itself.
There are many national parks in the area, including Jervis Bay, Fitzroy Falls, and the Minnamurra Rainforest. Also, Berry markets are on the first Sunday of each month, and much, much more.
