The Monto Community 72 hour Rest area was established by the Monto Business Community in 2015 and includes a Caravan Dump Point.
The area is set up within the grounds of the unused Railway yards. It is located right in town at the bottom of the main street behind the Information Centre. The Dump Point is found by turning into the area and keeping left towards the end of the site.
SITE ACCESS
Access is directly off the Gladstone-Monto Road at the entrance to the Railway Yard located at the Information Center. The site is in the heart of town and there is plenty of room to maneuver.
